PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil is a nonionic surfactant made from hydrogenated castor oil by ethoxylation. Hydrogenated castor oil is a fully saturated derivative of natural castor oil. The unsaturated ricinoleic acid chain is converted into a stable saturated fatty acid chain (mainly 12-hydroxystearic acid triglyceride) by catalytic hydrogenation, and then reacted with ethylene oxide to obtain a white to light yellow paste or liquid with amphiphilic properties.
Our product does not contain solvents, has good cold water dispersibility, does not agglomerate or gel, has good transparency and no blue light scattering, can retain the original flavor in oral preparations such as mouthwash, and meets the pharmacopoeia standards.
