OILREE® MYLO-75 PEG-75 LANOLIN OIL CAS NO.68648-38-4
 
PEG-75 lanolin oil is a water-soluble non-ionic conditioner made from lanolin.It is completely soluble in water and is suitable for transparent shampoos, body washes and oil-in-water creams.Formulators use it to regulate skin and hair, flavor solubilizing and emulsifying stabilizing effects, and improve the dryness that surfactants may cause, and it can work well alongside Cationic Softener in many hair care formulas.
 
What is OILREE® MYLO-75
 
OILREE® MYLO-75 is an ethoxylated form of lanolin oil.The “75” in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added to each molecule, and it is these units that make lanolin water-soluble.Its INCI name is PEG-75 lanolin oil, and its CAS number is 68648-38-4.It is yellow flakes and can be dispersed into a transparent solution.
 
Since it is nonionic and water-soluble, it can be mixed with an aqueous system without making it turbid, different from some Water in oil emulsifier that tends to form opaque systems.

It regulates the skin.It can bring a soft and smooth skin feeling and help the epidermis lock in moisture, pairing nicely with Isopropyl myristate to build a gentle moisturizing matrix.
 
It nourishes hair.In shampoo and conditioner, it can make wet and dry hair easier to comb and reduce frizz.
 
It can dissolve spices and oily active ingredients.It can carry spices and lipophilic ingredients while maintaining the clarity of the transparent formula, similar to the solubilizing performance of PEG 60 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL.
 
It can stabilize the emulsion.As an emulsifying aid, it helps to keep oil-in-water creams and emulsions even.
 
It can reduce the irritation of surfactants.It can counteract the degreasing effect of some cleansing products and make the skin and hair feel more refreshing after use.
 
It remains clear in the water.The pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 4-7, which is clear and transparent, which is very suitable for transparent products.
 
Scope of application
 
Transparent shampoo.It nourishes hair, makes combing easier, and does not muddy the bottle, so the product remains transparent on the shelf.

How to use
 
The amount used is 0.2%-3.0% of the finished formula.The flakes can be dispersed in warm water or heated oil phase.You can add it to the oil phase with other lipids, or pre-dissolve it in warm water before mixing.
 
It is non-ionic and is therefore compatible with most cosmetic raw materials and electrolyte-containing systems.Store in a sealed manner at room temperature and away from light.
