Introduction
 
PEOFA™ MYPGO1810 is a plant-derived polyglycerol-10 oleate developed by Mingya.It is a highly hydrophilic nonionic surfactant designed for O/W emulsions.In the formula, it has emulsifying, dispersing and solubilizing effects.After applying to the skin, the texture is light and non-greasy, and it works well paired with Isopropyl myristate to build comfortable, spreadable oil phases.
 
What is PEOFA™ MYPGO1810
 
PEOFA™ MYPGO1810 Polyglycerol-10 oleate is an ester of decylglycerol and oleic acid.Decylglycerol is connected into a chain by ten glycerol units; oleic acid is the C18:1 fatty acid in vegetable oils.The ten glycerol units have many hydroxyl groups, and the hydroxyl groups can bind to water molecules-this is why the molecule is highly hydrophilic.The oleate chain is an oleophilic tail.It is a basic requirement for an Emulsifier that a molecule has two lipophilicity.It is not charged, so it is nonionic: it will not precipitate with hard water ions, will not react with anionic or cationic components, and is stable within the pH range commonly used in skin care products.Its HLB value is usually between 12-14, and it is very hydrophilic, so it fits neatly into the category of Oil in water emulsifier.

Main functions
 
O/W type emulsifier.Located at the oil-water interface, the oil droplets are dispersed, so that the cream and emulsion remain in a uniform state and avoid oil-water separation.
 
Solubilizing agent.A small amount of oil-soluble substance is wrapped in a micelle and transported to a clear aqueous phase-this is how flavors and oil-soluble active ingredients diffuse in toners, micelle water, and transparent gels.It can replace some conventional Solubilizers such as PEG 60 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL in many clean beauty oriented formulas.
 
dispersant.Wet the powder and pigment so that it spreads evenly, suitable for foundation, makeup and sunscreen.
 
Skin care Emollients.It forms a light and soft film, which is neither heavy nor greasy, so it is suitable for lightweight lotions and gel creams, as well as creams with a more moisturizing texture.
 
The reason why the formulator chose it
 
The chemical composition does not contain PEG and EO.Unlike polysorbate or PEG castor oil, its molecules do not contain any ethylene oxide units.
 
Plant origin.Both parts are derived from plants, which are in line with the positioning of natural, vegan and clean beauty, and their performance is not affected.
 
Non-ionic, so it has good compatibility with other ingredients.It can be mixed with anionic surfactants in cleaning agents, cationic conditioners in hair care products, or active ingredients containing electrolytes.There will be no charge conflict, and it can coexist stably with Cationic Softener in leave-on and rinse-off hair care systems.
 
It is liquid at room temperature.No need to pre-melt.It can be directly dispersed into the oil phase and is suitable for cold processing technology.

Scope of application
 
Creams and emulsions: the added amount is 1-4%. It can be used as the only emulsifier in the light system and as an auxiliary emulsifier in the thick system.
 
Essence and essence lotion: Emulsify the small-molecule oily active ingredients squalane, ester oils, and oil-soluble active ingredients into a low-viscosity water base, and keep it transparent to translucent when the oil content is low.
 
Mask essence: Disperse the nourishing oil into the water base.Infant care: plant extract, no essential oils, non-irritating.
 
Cleanser and makeup remover products: Gentle nonionic auxiliary surfactants can reduce the dryness caused by powerful anionic cleansing products, and suspend dissolved makeup in water for easy rinsing.
 
Makeup remover cream and makeup remover oil: help it emulsify, and it can be easily rinsed in case of water.
 
Shower gel: Increase the gentleness and keep the fragrance even.
 
Shampoo: mild enhancer and fragrance solubilizer, gentle formula, suitable for children.
 
Conditioner and hair mask: apply nourishing oil evenly, easy to rinse, leaving no residue.Scalp care products: The formula is low in irritation when staying on the scalp.
 
Sunscreen products: Help disperse the oily UV filter and improve its ductility, thereby forming a uniform protective film on the skin.
