NSOAF™ The INCI name of TMPI18 is trimethylolpropanetriisostearate, which is a high-purity triester raw material synthesized from trimethylolpropane and isostearic acid. It is a yellow viscous liquid with a smooth texture and a lubricating sensation. Its core characteristics are excellent antioxidant properties, full lubrication, and a gentle skin feel, providing long-lasting softness and moisturizing effects for the skin. As a structurally stable and polar balanced ester, it has a dual function of moisturizing and assisting emulsification, making it an ideal ingredient in high-performance skincare and makeup systems.
In formula design,Trimethylolpropane triisostearate is a multifunctional conditioner that can form a delicate protective film to help repair the skin's moisturizing barrier. Its molecular arrangement is uniform, which can enhance the extensibility of the product without leaving greasy residue, making it both luxurious and breathable for comfortable use. It can also help stabilize the oil in water emulsion system, and maintain the viscosity balance and the uniformity of face cream texture even when the temperature fluctuates or the storage conditions change. When the formula contains other esters, silicone oils, or natural oils, it can also enhance the overall compatibility of the ingredients, making the finished product feel better.
From a technical perspective,Trimethylolpropane triisostearate has low acid and hydroxyl values, and exhibits excellent antioxidant and hydrolysis stability. During heating, mixing, and emulsification processes, it can always maintain clarity and stability, and the recommended addition amount is 1% -5%. The product is packaged in 20kg barrels and is recommended to be stored in a dry and ventilated environment below 30 ℃ to ensure optimal performance.
