THICION ® MY905 is a milky white liquid thickener, mainly composed of acrylamide and ammonium acrylate copolymer, mineral oil and Laureth-7, with an active content of about 60%. As it belongs to lotion system, it has no obvious melting point. At 25 ℃, the density is approximately 0.95-1.05 g/cm ³. The overall HLB value of the system is estimated to be 10-12, which is mainly determined by Laureth-7 (HLB value 12.1) and is suitable for the needs of oil in water emulsions. This product is easily compatible with polyols such as glycerol and propylene glycol, with stable performance within the pH range of 4.5-8.0, and can flexibly adapt to different formulation environments.

THICION ® MY905 can play a stable thickening effect with only a low addition of 0.5 – 2%, making the paste and lotion appear uniform and beautiful. Unlike some traditional thickeners that are prone to peeling and residue issues, this polymer system ensures smooth application and will not peel off after drying. Among them, the combination of acrylamide and ammonium acrylate copolymer with mineral oil not only achieves rheological regulation, but also has skin conditioning effects. While controlling viscosity, it can also bring a refreshing and non sticky tactile sensation. In addition, it is resistant to biological hydrolysis, resistant to water and alkali, and has stronger durability. It is suitable for face cream, lotion, hair care products and other formulations that require functional stability and consumer friendly texture.
Packaging And Storage
This product is packaged in 50kg drums, and the recommended container materials include 1.4301 (V2) stainless steel, 1.4401 stainless steel, 1.4571 stainless steel, glass, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and tin plated carbon steel (tinplate). Attention should be paid during storage: keep it sealed and dry, place it in a cool environment, with a temperature not exceeding 30 ℃, and avoid moisture; To maintain product stability, exposure to environments above 45 ℃ should be avoided. Within the specified storage conditions, the product may experience softening, but it will not change its technical specifications.
